Our "case" for this past 2008 Senior Softball season has been Breast Cancer Awareness. We started our campaign in February at the Pelican Tournament in Florida. We've traveled to as many tournaments as possible, throughout this wonderful country, spreading our message and now we will conclude our campaign at the Senior Softball World Championships in Phoenix, Oct. 17-19.
We've met survivors who have told us their stories, tugged at our hearts and brought smiles to our faces.
I'm very proud and honored to have worked with such a dedicated committee who gave of their time and energy. The Campaign Committee members are: Raula Turnier, Arlene Gomez, Sandy Kathamegos, Connie Stewart, Marsha Moore, Kim Bradshaw and Breast Cancer survivors, Cindy Loomer, Cheryl Shepard, Peggy O'Neill.
Join us at the Opening Ceremonies in Phoenix as we honor our sister survivors.
